HOUSE PLANS

This is a nice toasty house, courtesy of the Stanley oil-fired range in the kitchen which does the cooking, hot water and fuels the central heating system. The level of insulation is high, helped by the double glazed UVPC windows throughout. The lounge has a multi fuel Stanley stove with back boiler which is very useful on the very rare occasion we do loose power here as it is capable of taking a saucepan so that you still get a cup of tea. The porch doubles as a utility room with space for a washing machine and dryer. There is a small lean to attached to the back of the house which we have used as a pantry. Both freezers are in there and there is further storage space as well. We will be leaving all carpets, curtains and light fittings.

Outside the garden is mainly used for veg and salad growing. There is a reasonable sized lawn- takes about half and hour to mow. We made a small patio/ barbecue area between the porch and the wall to the west of the garden so it is really nice sheltered spot, complete with picnic table.
